The small print, in full
- Exports carry no watermark, on any plan
- Projects stay on your disk — nothing is uploaded unless you turn on a backup
- Uninstalling removes the software and leaves your projects where they are

- Stem separation runs on your computer, not on a server
My browser warns that the file is uncommon
A signed file still gets this warning until enough people have downloaded it. You can verify the file against the SHA-256 checksum published on the download page of Sound Academy.
Do I need admin rights?
For the standard installer — usually yes. On a managed computer the network administrator can deploy the MSI package, or you simply work in the browser and install nothing.
Is there a Mac version?
Not today. In the browser the studio works on a Mac too, and that is the honest answer for now.
What is the difference between the recommended and the full version?
Only when the files stem separation needs are downloaded: in the recommended version the first time you use them, in the full version they are already inside. If your connection is weak, take the full one.
